Atto Accelerator 2021 Demo Day: Meet the Startups
To round off the 12-week Accelerator for 2021, the 23 startups pitched at Demo Day showcasing what they’ve achieved over the three-month period.
The third cohort of female founders this year was our biggest batch yet. Almost half the founders are based in Victoria, while others are based across Australia in Perth, Brisbane and Sydney, and we have several more founders joining us from New Zealand.
When we started the program in September, almost all of the participants where living under lockdown laws, and some founders were also juggling employment and home-schooling. Atto’s equity-free accelerator is all delivered online - a model that predated the pandemic.
We’re so proud of all that they’ve been able to achieve so far after 12-weeks of masterclasses with world-class startup experts, coaching to keep them focused on what’s important, and masterminds with the Atto community to keep them inspired.
During Demo Day after a fireside chat with Kristy Chong, each startup had just three minutes to share the problem they’re solving, how their solution is unique, the traction they’ve achieved so far, and an ask for the judges or Atto community.
We had three impressive judges share insights and ask questions after each group of pitches: Aprill Allen, general partner at Tractor Ventures; Rachael Neumann, founding partner at Flying Fox Ventures and Emily Rich, Director of Atto’s partner Microsoft for Startups, and partner at M8 Ventures.
The 23 startups in the batch are tackling big problems. This year, we have several founders creating solutions for family life, kids education, health and wellbeing, ecommerce as well as sustainability.
Learn more about the startups and watch them pitch their businesses in just two minutes below.
