Atto expands to New Zealand

Atto is excited to announce we are launching our 2020 pre-accelerator program in New Zealand. Four Kiwi female-founded companies will be accepted into the 2020 batch as part of a soft launch into the region. The program is remote so founders across NZ can participate.

The Kiwi companies will join a batch of 15 Australian female founders. The program will teach first-time founders how to go from idea to MVP to revenue in 12 weeks. Founders with exisiting companies can also apply if they are in need of assistance with refining product-market fit, acquiring customers and increasing growth. Atto champions the no-code movement so founders don’t need to be technical to apply.

The expansion has been led by Atto’s new community director, Sian Simpson, founder of Public Rally. Sian will be the lead mentor for the New Zealand companies. Prior to Atto, Sian had a five year stint at Kiwi Landing Pad and also runs the New Zealand ‘Startup and Tech Mixer’, which is a quarterly event series that gets the tech community together for networking and collaborating.

We would also like to thank Amazon Web Services New Zealand for their support in providing program scholarships for the founders.

Kiwi female founders wanting to apply for Atto 2020 can do so at atto.vc/apply. Applications close this Friday, September 25 and will be accepted on a rolling basis so please apply early.

Sian and Kate from Atto will be hosting a webinar with Kiwi Landing Pad this Wednesday at 10am NZT, where founders and partners can discover more about the program. RSVP here.
