Atto Community Update: April 2021

Atto HQ

Our focus in April has been on our Atto Academy members! With the Academy membership, these founders get access to previous accelerator courseware, weekly Masterminds, monthly Masterclasses and quarterly coaching with the Atto team. After a beta trial in March, we now have a tight-knit community of female tech founders who support each other as they scale their businesses.

Atto Academy Masterclasses

Every month, we host a Masterclass with a startup expert to empower our founders with knowledge to take their business to the next level. These Masterclasses are for our Atto Academy founder community and the wider female tech founder community looking to upskill.

In March, we hosted our first Masterclass with Sair Buckle, a product leader with experience heading up teams at Carsales.com.au and Telsa. Sair shared her expertise with our founders and took them through recommended processes and useful tools to use when you’re mapping out what to build. Feedback from our community was positive and founders said the session was a very practical session with useful frameworks to use at each step. The founders liked that Sair acknowledged the complexity of product building while breaking it down to a step-by-step process. It made founders feel more confident about eating the elephant one bite at a time!

In April, we have Startmate’s Principal Lauren Capelin taking our founders through what they need to do to prepare their Startmate application. This session is going to give founders an insider look into what the most ambitious accelerator operators look for when assessing applications. Register for the Masterclass here.

In May, we’ve got Atto’s very own Lana Weal taking founders through how to pitch with confidence and how to prepare for the different types of startup pitches. Register for the Masterclass here.

What do our founders think about the Atto Academy?

  • “Atto has been a source of support and knowledge for me as a first-time founder who is very early on in my journey. The weekly sessions help keep me accountable and I benefit from hearing about the current challenges other founders are facing and the possible solutions the group provides. The Atto platform has a wealth of knowledge and other founders are only a click away if I have a question or challenge I want to post.” ~Alexis

  • "I've found being 'immersed' in the Atto community has been essential to keeping myself accountable and on track. Asking myself the weekly mastermind questions of what my 'wins' and 'challenges' has become an essential ritual, forcing me to step out of the daily whirlwind to look at my business from the outside in and review what's actually happening." ~Karen
