[Gaddie Pitch]
You know how female founders can often have a dash of imposter syndrome, perhaps a pinch of perfectionism or they might have a big fear of failure, and / or a big fear of success?
Well what we do at Atto is provide all the insights and coaching women need to build a tech startup all within a community of like-minded, supportive and ambitious women who are also building tech startups
In fact, we run programs for emerging founders who might just have a business idea, and established founders who usually have been in business for less than five years and are looking to scale their operations.
Atto is supported by the awesome teams at Launch Vic and Microsoft for Startups, and was founded by the impressive serial entrepreneur Kate Kendall.
And at Atto, our goal is to support founders to build independent, scalable, and sustainable businesses - and we’re all about focus, clarity and action.
Atto has been virtual since day one and our founders are taught by world-class startup founders and operators with a proven track record of success.
During our programs, we aim to take founders from idea to MVP, and ideally revenue because if your business doesn’t make money, it’s not sustainable long-term.
Our flagship program is our Accelerator which covers topics like customer validation, building MVPs, no-code tools, marketing, community and funding.
And to support founders outside of our tailored programs, we have a monthly Academy membership for founders who want support 24/7.
Our alumni have gone on to have great success like Airrobe and Bubble Tea Club who have gone on to raise over $1M each. And our alumni also includes a bunch of quiet achievers focused on doing the work and running profitable startups like Wedsites, Coffee Roulette, Zove Beauty, and Purposeful.
Meet our 2021 Accelerator founders at Demo Day on Nov 24. Register here.
What is a Gaddie Pitch?
The Gaddie Pitch is a simple pitching format founders can use when trying to quickly communicate what they do. It’s essential to know who your target customers are and their pain points.
There are three steps to a Gaddie Pitch:
You know how…. [PROBLEM + TARGETS]
Well what we do is… [BENEFITS + FEELINGS]
In fact… [EXAMPLE + PROOF]
Description of the event:
Time to turn the tables: 20+ awesome Aussie accelerators will pitch their programs for founders
Founders at every stage will find a dizzying array of accelerator and other support programs to choose from. And now that many of them have taken things online, there's even more! They each have their merits and specialties: but which one is the right fit for you?
Even finding out about them takes lots of research, let alone getting down to the details of what's on offer and clicking with "the vibe" :)
That's why the members of the Aussie Accelerator Network are coming together for what will be a fun and informative Spark Festival program highlight. Each of them will have a (strict!) 90 seconds to let us know what's so great about their program, and the kinds of startups they are looking for. They're a competitive bunch, so you can look forward to some playful competition and a fun evening.
